Job overview An opportunity has arisen for a part-time Community Specialist Palliative Care Nurse to join the well established and dynamic community team at The Macmillan Unit.The successful applicant will ideally have experience in community nursing, symptom control in palliative care, caseload management, leadership skills and advance communication skills appropriate to the needs of this patient group.The post holder will be expected to work independently as part of the wider specialist palliative care service and across the interface between primary and secondary care.This position includes working weekends on a rota basis.
