Intelligence Analyst Location: Wellington, New Zealand Police Company Description: New Zealand Police is working with the community to make New Zealanders be safe and feel safe.

We operate by land, sea and air, manage over 860,000 emergency calls a year, and are always actively preventing crime and crashes.

Role Expectations: We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following: A sound knowledge of intelligence practices and crime science.
An ability to work effectively in a team environment, bringing a positive energy.
Shows initiative and can work unsupervised (reliable and dependable).
Can work effectively and calmly under pressure.
Able to work to short deadlines.
Comfortable managing multiple demands from a variety of people.
Available at short notice and able to work at alternate locations where required.
Special Requirements: - New Zealand or Australian citizenship, or a permanent NZ resident.
- Hold the NZ Diploma in Intelligence Analysis (NZDIA) or equivalent, or be able to complete NZDIA modules early in employment.
- Hold a full driver license or be able to complete early in employment.
- Able to obtain and maintain an appropriate national security clearance.
Position Levels: - Intelligence Analyst/Senior Intelligence Analyst.
- Based at Wellington Central Police Station.
- Band G - Intelligence Analyst.
- Band I - Senior Intelligence Analyst.
