Lead and develop the Integration domain architecture strategy and roadmap * Collaborate internally and externally in order to ensure solutions are aligned to organisational needs * Wellington based. Be a key part of defining integration architecture, roadmaps and solutions for MFAT. Korero mo te turanga - About the role This role, the Integration Architect will play a key role defining the architecture for how MFAT business systems and applications are connected in cloud and on-premise. In this role, you will be responsible for producing and implementing Integration architecture roadmaps, patterns and building blocks aligning to the MFAT Digital strategy. In addition you will: Develop and maintain the Integration architecture domain, including current state and future state roadmaps. * Develop and maintain Integration Architecture patterns, standards, blueprints, and health of the domain. * Liaise with and lead relationships and initiatives with internal and external stakeholders on the Integration domain direction. * Provide strategic analysis of, and advice on, emerging trends, and opportunities for the MFAT Integration landscape. The full salary range for this role is $124,674 to $168,676 total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. We expect to appoint within this range depending on your level of experience. Ma wai te mahi nei? – Who are we looking for? We'd like to hear from you if you are an experienced architect with the following skills and experience: A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Technology, or related discipline * Experience in designing on-premises, hybrid, and cloud to cloud solutions. * At least five years' experience in designing solutions for complex business and technical environments in a senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or any other hands on leadership role * Deep understanding of Integration methods, patterns, standards, schemas and protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML etc). * Experience designing Microsoft Azure and legacy integration services (e.g. Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event hub/Event Grid, API Management, Application and Data gateways, Data Factory, Synapse and BizTalk, SSIS etc) * Experience with Service Orientated Architecture and Micro Services patterns Ideally you will also have a good understanding of tikanga (Maori customs and protocols), with the ability to weave te ao Maori (the Maori worldview) into your work.
