A key focus will be improving timeliness of service, quality, and safety, of the healthcare journey and experience for patients. The ideal applicant will have extensive health care experience in a leadership role ideally with a clinical background. You will have an understanding of patient acuity systems and management of capacity and demand. You will need a passion for data and analytics to drive quality improvement alongside the ability to build constructive relationships and work in partnership with service leadership teams.A post graduate qualification in the health field is required.We also encourage knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the principles of Kaupapa Maori as these are integral to the functioning of Health New Zealand.
