About the role: You will be joining an expanding team as the Senior .Net Developer.
You will focus on enhancing and supporting software that makes it accessible to everyone.
Your focus will be on maintaining and improving a .NET Framework 4.8 solution as it evolves, delivering new features that will delight the customers.
This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and is comfortable navigating an existing codebase with some older components.
You'll also have a passion for refactoring and modernising software as the goal is to migrate the solution to more recent versions of .NET in the near future.
Required: 4+ years of experience working with the .NET Framework (experience with .NET 4.8 specifically is a plus).
Strong proficiency in C#.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies.
Experience with SQL Server and database management.
Proficient with version control systems.
Preferred: Experience with deployment and hosting tasks (knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is a bonus).
Familiarity with cloud platforms.
Understanding of modernising applications to newer versions of .NET (Core).
