Insurance Specialists

As an experienced insurance specialist within the commercial space you will be responsible for managing client claims efficiently, providing assistance to colleagues on complex cases, and representing the company professionally at all times. Your ability to check policies accurately, record new claims promptly, and pursue underwriters for timely settlements will contribute significantly to the success of the business.Key responsibilities will vary between roles but will typically include the following:Manage end to end claims effectively and timelyProvide assistance to colleagues in handling technical and complex claimsReview and adhere to policies held by clients and policy wordingsProvide one-to-one or team support for experienced commercial brokersProcess new policies, alterations, endorsements, and renewals as per broker instructionsKeep up to date with industry developmentsKey requirements:Good interpersonal skills - ability to build strong relationships both internally and externallyCompetency in Microsoft Word, Excel (intermediate to advance) and OutlookAbility to prioritise tasks effectivelyDemonstrated understanding of NZ insurance policies and regulationsHold a FS level 5 qualification (preferred)Whats next:If you are interested in hearing more about these opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
