Au Mahi | What You Will Do An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and innovative learning design solutions for online courses and programs. The role will collaborate closely with the Instructional Design Team Leader, Subject Matter Experts, Producers, Animators, Copy Editors and the wider Future Learning and Development team. Mou | Who You Are This role offers a dynamic and exciting environment where you will be responsible for producing flexible and accessible courses for our online learners. We are seeking a candidate who is innovative, enthusiastic, and committed to quality. Additionally, you will possess the following: Demonstrated knowledge and experience of detailed Instructional Design processes. Strong pedagogical expertise and skill to apply NZQA framework requirements to develop learning outcomes and constructively align to assessments and content. A background in e-learning within a university education environment. Experience in the building, development and maintenance of course content for university level courses. Demonstrated ability to lead an online course development project for university size courses Strong skills with Articulate 360 software, specifically Rise and Storyline, is essential. Demonstrated technical skill in developing with Moodle is essential. Highly developed team-work skills. The ability to work under pressure and be adaptable to achieve competing deadlines within an ever-changing project and product environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mahi Ngatahi | Who You Will Work With UC's Office of Future Learning and Development partners with academic staff to positively impact the quality of teaching and learning using educational technologies. We empower our learning communities to realise their potential by driving future-focused educational opportunities and innovative learning design. We work with faculty to co-design flexible, hybrid, and online courses and to enhance face-to-face courses with technology tools and applications.
