This Position is full time with a guaranteed 30 Hours per week. The maximum hours of work will be 45 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Determining the appropriate type and dimensions of glass required, including measuring, marking, inspecting, and identifying any flaws in the glass prior to cutting.

Fabricating aluminium window frames and components as needed.

Installing aluminium window systems, including frames, sashes, glass, and hardware in windows, skylights, display cases, and on interior walls and ceilings, ensuring proper fit and alignment.

Utilizing hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation tasks, including coating, cutting, etching, trimming, and treating glass to obtain specific designs according to client requests.

Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate installation schedules and ensure project timelines are met.

Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the installation process.

Conducting quality inspections to verify that installations meet project specifications and industry standards.

Providing excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from clients in a professional manner.

Keeping accurate records of materials used, time spent on projects, and any additional pertinent information.

What do we need from you to be successful for this role?

2 years of proven experience in commercial aluminium window installation.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Strong knowledge of aluminium window systems and components.

Ability to accurately measure and fabricate aluminium frames and components.

Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools used in window installation.

Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, including aluminium window frames and glass panels.

Comfort working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Agility and dexterity to manoeuvre in tight spaces and on uneven surfaces.

Working Conditions:

Work primarily takes place at construction sites, both indoors and outdoors.

May be exposed to dust, noise, and other construction-related hazards.

Flexible schedule required, including occasional evenings and weekends to meet project deadlines.
