wiqNZ underpin Woolworths critical decision making and strategy development. Our team is highly talented and works with some of the latest tools and techniques to deliver data-driven insights through advanced statistical analytics.
As a member of the extended leadership group within the wiqNZ team, your role is to drive scalable value from a range of analytics use cases harnessing the strengths and skills of the analytics delivery squad, with a strong focus on supporting WWNZ transformation. You will take the lead of the squad delivering strategic insights for our store and e-commerce operations.
About the Role | Mo te Turanga
As the Insights Analytics Lead, you will play a critical role in leading outcomes across:
People: Mentorship and skills development of a small squad of technical analysts
Delivery process: You are responsible for the delivery of all projects across the squad, ensuring 'big rocks' to BAU tasks are prioritised and responded to in a timely manner. A key part of your role is balancing where team capacity is allocated ensuring the right amount of time is spent delivering business value today versus future outcomes.
Technical: The Analytics Lead is a highly technical role with direct accountability for the scoping and delivery of multiple projects within wiqNZ.

Bring a wealth of experience working in insight analytics, you have experience working in an agile environment and you are able to demonstrate your strong leadership skills. You have strong experience in delivering insights, analytics projects and initiatives.

Have strong and well-rounded insight analytics skills that your team will learn from.
Preferably have some experience in the retail space, FMCG and/or operations.
