Mo te Turanga | About the role
Of the three levels of Data Analysts in the remediation program, this is the entry level position. A great opportunity to work towards the Insights Specialist role and if desired continue on to the top level being the Senior Insights Specialist role.
As a dedicated resource to ASB Remediation, you will work as part of a team with other more senior Data Analysts to seek, wrangle and deliver data where ASB can repay customers for mistakes they have made in the past.
As someone who is passionate about data and insights, you will get to work on a variety of remediation projects. You will get to influence and contribute to the analytics assessment, planning and delivery of these projects. It is an exciting and challenging environment where data accuracy is as close to 100% as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong SQL analytical skills
Strong experience with complex SQL projects, in particular using MS SQL/Transact SQL
Good verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical skills, able to work with complex data to deliver meaningful, relevant, actionable insights.
Problem-solving skills, comfortable working in complex, challenging environments.
Strong written and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to groups.
Outcome orientated, persistence to challenge the status quo and deliver customer results.
Skills typically proven with 2 years or more of SQL based delivery experience.
