About the Role As a successful Receptionist, you will be key in offering reception and administrative responsibilities to the team in a very busy environment. The successful applicant must be methodical in approach, highly organised, flexible, and possess a desire to be a supportive team member. They must also have excellent customer service skills.
Day to day you will be welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone, addressing inquiries, and liaising with the Medical Team. Responsibilities include data capturing of patient flow, assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation, and keeping a clean and calm reception area in a busy environment.
About the Service The Inpatient Receptionist is committed to front desk operations in the wards, responsible for greeting, admitting, discharging, and transferring patients within the ward, as well as managing patient records. They ensure the smooth running of the reception area and provide essential support to healthcare staff, with success driven by the care of patients and their whanau.
