Join our friendly team, passionate about our work and committed to excellence.Through our mahi with researchers, clinicians, health agencies and patients, Breast Cancer Foundation NZ identifies and drives opportunities for improvement and innovation in breast cancer detection, treatment and patient support – all working towards our vision of zero deaths from breast cancer.We're looking for an Innovation Development Manager to help us bring the best new ideas and technologies for early detection of breast cancer to reality in Aotearoa NZ – giving women their best chance of survival. You'll work alongside our existing Innovation Development Manager (Optimal Treatment) to scope new projects: identify gaps, investigate needs and evidence, work with stakeholders to identify solutions, develop business cases, and initiate implementation.To do this job you'll need:Visionary thinking, understanding the big pictureA track record in identifying gaps and innovative, technology-led solutionsA track record of planning and implementing successful initiativesStrong organisation, critical thinking and creativity skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsUnderstanding of the principles of equity and Te Tiriti o WaitangiPreferably, experience in the health sectorAble to understand and appraise the research and scientific evidence underpinning proposed innovationsAbility to recognise priorities and needs of different audiences, and tailor the message to suitAbility to identify and engage with clinical champions for projects.You'll need to be a self-starter, able to work independently but enjoying being part of a high-performing team.If you think you may be right for us and we may be right for you, request the full position description and/or send your cover letter and CV to Adèle Gautier (Head of Research & Strategic Programmes) at ******.
