About the role
Since 2014, Oji Fibre Solutions has been a member of the ACC Accredited Employer Programme. Reporting to the Wellbeing and Injury Services Manager, the primary function of this role is to deliver a needs-based service for injured employees, facilitating their safe and sustainable return to work and independence. This involves managing comprehensive individual rehabilitation plans to ensure timely, effective, and cost-efficient outcomes. This is a permanent, part-time role (20 hours per week), which can be fully undertaken at home, with some travel to work locations when required. Applicants with ACC case management experience is desirable.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure all claims lodged in the claims management operating system.
Provide end to end case management for all workplace accident claims.
Facilitate entitlements in accordance with legislation and company policies and guidelines.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
Facilitate and attend rehabilitation meetings as required.

Skills & experience

Relevant qualification and/or experience working in an appropriate health related role.
Demonstrate an understanding of rehabilitation strategies and legislation.
Good working knowledge of medical, social and vocational rehabilitation principles and protocols.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the business.
Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Hold a current NZ drivers' licence.
