This is an outstanding opportunity to join a motivated and results-focused team at the Manawatu District Council.We are in search of an experienced Planner with proven ability in a range of resource consent preparation to join our Infrastructure team in an exciting time of growth and development in our district. You will prepare resource consent applications and notices of requirement to lodge with either the territorial authority or Regional Council on behalf of the infrastructure team. You will also be assessing, reviewing, and processing resource consents on behalf of Infrastructure and assisting in the associated compliance functions for the infrastructure area.We need you to have relevant experience and skills such as:Extensive knowledge of the Resource Management ActBetween 5-10 years practical experience in resource management consent processingProven report writing and verbal presentation skillsCompetence in preparing evidence and presenting at hearingsExcellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationshipsAbility to embrace change and continuous improvementAbility to develop good working relationships both internally and externallyWe can present you with an exciting challenge and the opportunity to contribute to the success of our team, our organisation, as well as the growth of our district.The salary range for this role is $78,900 - $106,700 (midpoint $92,800) depending on level of experience.This may be the opportunity you've been looking for to combine a great role with a quality lifestyle.
