Infrastructure Field Officer - Customer & CorridorJoin a dynamic organisation where our people and our place are at the heart of everything we do.Supportive team culture, excellent leadership and a range of well-being initiatives.Full-time role based in either Mangawhai or Dargaville with WFH options.About the role Our Roading team is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join us as an Infrastructure Field Officer - Customer and Corridor. In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for corridor access, vehicle crossings, and Traffic Management Plans, while also supporting Kaipara District Council's roading maintenance contractor.
Key responsibilities include: Building trust with customers, maintaining records, and enhancing communication methods.Updating Vehicle Crossing (VC) files, issuing permits, and overseeing inspections with contractors.Coordinating with inspectors, engineers, and customers to resolve issues and manage queries.Handling Corridor Access Requests (CAR) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP), ensuring compliance and effective communication.Support the Roading team by delivering exceptional customer service, manage service requests and provide accurate information.About you We are seeking a candidate with a strong commitment to providing excellent service and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. A professional, customer-first attitude is essential, paired with the ability to create meaningful interactions that leave a lasting impact. Familiarity with roading maintenance, construction and site traffic management would be an added advantage.
