This role provides strong mentoring and leadership in programme and project controls. It works alongside and supports Programme/Project Managers/Directors to actively manage scope, time and cost and ensure timely, accurate and relevant reporting is produced for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board.
This role is required to work across the business to develop, maintain and improve the controls tools, frameworks, reporting and continually provide support and assist with training and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities include: Establish, maintain, and improve a standard set of programme and project controls tools, processes and templates to ensure project and programme cost/time tracking and reporting are relevant and accurate.Establish, maintain, and improve a standard set of programme/project schedules to be used by external suppliers (consultants and contractors) as well as internally by AT programme/project directors/managers to facilitate visibility of critical path, resources allocation, key milestones and transparency on delivery progress.Establish, maintain, and improve standard approach, techniques, tools, and templates for using Earned Value analysis across all capital programmes/projects.Collect, consolidate, analyse, and report on programme and project controls related data, including design and implementation of reporting dashboards to support effective decision making.Oversee project controls at a portfolio, programme and project level and assist programme/project directors/managers in delivering successful outcomes.Lead effective implementation of robust scheduling and cost controls across all capital delivery through education, training, supporting documentation and day to day support.7 - 10 years PQE relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in programme and project controls, scheduling or commercial management of infrastructure delivery (e.g., Commerce, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying)Primavera P6 and MS Project trained.Over 10 years' experience in managing all aspects of programme/project controls in a complex programme and project environmentHighly developed project/programme management and planning skills with significant experience in strategic and large-scale delivery of multiple programmes/portfolios of work.Extensive knowledge and a deep understanding, including practical application of, infrastructure planning, design and delivery processes and change management.Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to translate complex information and uncomplicate programme and project change control.At AT, weembraceinclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences.Our values are more than just words - they are integral to everything we do.
