Lead domain-specific architecture aligned with Kainga Ora's long-term business and digital strategy Serve as a subject matter expert, influencing adoption of domain capabilities and driving continuous improvement.
Permanent, full-time opportunity at $183,249 + 5 weeks' annual leave and a suite of additional benefits.
As our newest Information Architect, you'll lead the development and maintenance of domain-specific architectural assets while collaborating with key stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective domain capabilities.
You'll be an expert within a team of experts, each with their own specialization (Including Enterprise Architects, Principle Data and Governance Specialists, Principle Business Intelligence Specialists, Lead Business Analysts, and Lead Service Designers), led by our Digital Planning and Standards Manager.
As a subject matter expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving domain maturity, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic guidance on the integration and management of data and information in a complex, evolving environment.
Your ability to influence and guide business uptake of domain capabilities, combined with your strong technical expertise and industry knowledge, will ensure your success in this role.
If you have proven experience in leading architectural initiatives, particularly in a government or enterprise setting, and are comfortable navigating ambiguity while driving forward-thinking solutions, we want to hear from you!
Here's what we'd love for you to bring to the role:
A Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or Computer Science (or similar), or equivalent experience, is key in this role.
Ideally, you may also have Advanced Level Domain Certifications.Specialist domain knowledge gained from 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.A proven track record in influencing the business uptake of domain-specific capabilities for a complex medium to large organization.Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Domain Strategies, Domain Principles, Reference Designs.Knowledge of leading industry and AoG frameworks and patterns (Ex: GEA-NZ, TOGAF, ArchiMate, COBIT, ITIL, ISO, NIST, NZISM, and PSR).The ability to combine contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical levels of thinking to achieve increased domain maturity.The ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.As a Kainga Ora - Homes and Communities employee, we want to make sure that you have all the tools and support you need.
