Te kowhiringa | The Opportunity We have an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our close-knit Capital Works Electrical team.
If you have been working in the domestic or commercial arenas and would like to gain some valuable industrial experience, we are open to helping you with this.
Exposure to control systems, VSDs, and instrumentation is guaranteed, and we have experienced people to help get you up to speed.
ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for undertaking various activities within the Capital Works Electrical Team.
These tasks include pro-active and reactive maintenance and renewal projects on the 3 Waters Networks, as well as: Working within the Capital Works Team and assisting the Electrical Team carrying out various Automation and Electrical tasks in compliance with contract requirements.
Promptly and efficiently carrying out pricing, planning, and implementation of upgrades to existing and new Automation and Electrical installations.
Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills Qualified & Registered Electrician, EWRB practising licence.
Automation experience and knowledge of Industrial PLCs, SCADA, and Instrumentation.
Drivers Licence – Class 1 minimum; Class 2 & F an advantage.
Computer literate (ability to complete time and job sheets, and technical literacy to operate static and mobile telemetry devices).
Ability to plan jobs, organise your teams, and operate and maintain equipment without supervision.
