We are 100% New Zealand-owned and operated and a proud member of the Talley's Group; New Zealand's leading exporter of meat, dairy, seafood, and vegetable products.Job DescriptionAFFCO is currently seeking a suitably qualified Shift Electrician for its meat processing facility in Moerewa, Northland.Thesuccessful candidate will join the existing trades team toensure that plant assets are managed and maintained in a way that enhances the company's short and long term objectives and minimises production downtime.The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role:Strong diagnostic, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to communicate well at all levels of the business.The ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines ensuring production line efficiency is maximized.A proactive approach to daily routine with strong organisational and time management skills.A strong commitment to upholding health and safety standards.Experience in a manufacturing environment.PLC knowledge would be an advantage.QualificationsApplicants must be Registered Electricians with a current practicing licence and have availability to work on a rotating shift structure includingavailabilityfor call outs.You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.Additional InformationIf you want to be part of a motivated team, then please apply online today, give us a call on 09 04 3002, or come in and see us at our plant at923 State Highway 1, Moerewa.
