Industrial Electrician

Job Description AFFCO Horotiu is looking for a suitably qualified Electrician for its meat processing facility 5 minutes north of Hamilton.  The AFFCO Horotiu plant has had major capital upgrades in recent times and the plant is one of the most modern processing facilities of its type in New Zealand. Skills required are: A registered electrician with a current practicing license. Experience in an industrial environment. P L C Experience would be an advantage. The ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines ensuring production line efficiency is maximized. The ability to work rostered shifts, including overtime. Ability to communicate well at all levels of the business. Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Consideration may be given to a partially trained candidate with the appropriate skill set.   Additional Information You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand. And be willing to work on a rotating shift structure, and be available for call outs.
