Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:Enjoy a unique and strategic role that will help drive the asset management plan for our FM business forward.Work with a well-established and collaborative team.Take part in an exciting time of growth for our Facilities Maintenance team.ABOUT THE ROLEVentia NZ provides an integrated full FM, outcomes-based service solution to Auckland City Council including open space and hard and soft services under a hybrid self-delivered and sub-contracted partnership model.Reporting to the Strategic Asset Manager, the Industrial Asset Engineer will act as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to develop and maintain the Asset Management Plan.They will be responsible for performing analytics on building and asset conditions to identify efficiencies in an operational capacity. They will take ownership of the Technical maintenance plans or strategies, ensuring they are fit for purpose and compliance with current standards and regulations.Other key responsibilities include:Provide analytical insights on asset lifecycle performance and cost.Conduct on-site quality checks and provide feedback to applicable stakeholders for improvement.This role is based at our Karangahape road office but has the flexibility to also work remotely/from home on other days.They will have one direct report and will be part of a strong and well-established Asset Management team under our growing FM business.ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will need to have expert Excel skills, primarily PowerBI. A background in Facilities Management is an advantage and a tertiary qualification in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is also preferred but not a requirement.Other key skills, experience, and characteristics:Experience working with Asset Management software.Understanding of Asset Management and maintenance practices.Ability to analyze, interpret and use Engineering data.Commercial / Industrial Facilities Management preferred.Involvement in a specific trade such as HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing is desirable.Analytical skills in BI desired, understanding of BI is critical.Proven ability to work independently, stay on task and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.To be successful in this role you will need to manage your time very effectively and have the ability to constantly adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide variety of professionals will help you to build strong working relationships with all of your internal and external stakeholders, particularly Auckland Council.ABOUT VENTIAVentia is one of New Zealand's leading infrastructure services companies.
