Indian Chef

Pay Rate: $25 to $32 per hour
Minimum 30 hours per week
Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with management to plan menu and specials, figuring out how much food and staff will be needed, and ordering ingredients.
Checking that dishes are made well from start to finish and look good when served.
Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in all dishes.
Talking with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and serving staff about how to cook food.
Showing how to cook and giving advice on cooking methods.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to efficiently manage food preparation and cooking times.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Freezing or preserving food.
