Established in 2019 through the merger of three primary care practices in Alexandra, Health Central has rapidly advanced toward its vision of becoming a leading primary and allied healthcare provider in the region and one of the best in New Zealand. Over the last five years, we have successfully navigated challenges such as COVID-19, expanded our services to integrate physiotherapy, acquired and integrated a rural practice in Roxburgh, and moved into a new, state-of-the-art facility in Alexandra which now offers urgent care services seven days a week, from 8 am to 6 pm.Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Independent Director and Board Chair to help guide Health Central through its next phase, focusing on consolidation and careful, strategic growth.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience in the healthcare sectorExperience as a Director in SME businessesStrong financial acumen and strategic insightHighly developed skills in stakeholder and shareholder managementWhile we prefer candidates from the region, we welcome applications from individuals outside the area who possess the necessary skills and experience.
