It provides education for over 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International Baccalaureate programme.The Lead Teacher – Neurodiverse Learners is responsible for increasing access and engagement for a diverse group of learners through identifying learning needs and working with teachers to remove barriers that might otherwise exclude students. This role involves working closely with students, whanau, year-level deans, and teachers. It includes identifying students for special assessment conditions (SACs), screening, assisting with transitions, and developing individualised learning plans (IEPs). This role will focus on the Middle School years (7-10), so experience with this age group is beneficial; however, as a member of the Inclusive Learning Team, you will also be required to work with students in the Senior School.Reporting to the Head of Inclusive Learning, this role will work with other specialist teachers, an administrator, and learning assistants.
