Key Responsibilities: Client Portfolio Management: Handle your own portfolio of clients, primarily focusing on seafreight with some airfreight. End-to-End Shipment Management: Oversee clients' import shipments from overseas door to New Zealand door. Quoting: Provide quotes to clients and overseas agents. Client Communication: Keep clients constantly updated with order status reports. Rate Negotiation: Negotiate rates with service providers. Agent Coordination: Manage some shipments routed by overseas agents. Export Exposure: While there is a dedicated export person, having exposure to exports or willingness to learn is a plus. Ideal Candidate: You must have proven experience working for a freight forwarder in import seafreight customer service. Exposure to exports is beneficial. Dedicated and reliable: A flexible and dependable person who is passionate about freight. Friendly, hardworking, with a strong attention to detail. Someone who can enjoy a relaxed and down-to-earth environment.
