Impact Manager, Equity and Impact
Permanent 1 FTE Wellington
Who we are: Te Tahu Hauora Health Quality and Safety Commission (Te Tahu Hauora) is a stand-alone Crown entity with a board responsible to the Minister of Health.
Te Tahu Hauora is responsible for assisting providers, both private and public, across the whole health and disability sector to improve service safety and quality and therefore outcomes for all those who use these services in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Following our recent change process, we are delighted to introduce new roles within our organisation. These roles have been designed to align with our strategic vision, offering exciting opportunities for professional development and impactful contributions.
Join us as we partner with clinicians, providers and whanau to improve health and disability support services in New Zealand.
The role: The primary purpose of this role is to bring together knowledge and insights that can inform opportunities for impact. You will be responsible for identifying tactics to maximise the impact that our various programmes and initiatives can have. You will work closely with the Director of Engagement and Impact to develop robust recommendations and processes for measuring success.
About you: To be successful in this position, you will need:
Tertiary qualification, preferably in a related area and/or comparable relevant experience.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Skills and demonstrated experience in qualitative research.Sound understanding of health principles and practices and familiarity with the health system in New Zealand.Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining an environment focused on continuous improvement to enhance organisational performance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.How to apply: This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to improving health outcomes and addressing health inequities in Aotearoa New Zealand.
