You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, assess risk, manage a high-volume caseload and work collaboratively across the network.Daily responsibilities include:Processing visa applications, by assessing information against current legislation and policies.Workflow and caseload management.Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Applying rational and analytical thinking to decisions when reviewing applications.Writing well-reasoned rationale to support your decisions.Interviewing telephonically or face to face (dependent on the visa category).Our Henderson Office is located off Lincoln Road, away from the hustle and bustle of the central city.
Our office will be moving 3.5 km from its current location in March 2025, towards central Henderson, close to transport hub.MBIE offers a range of flexible working options.
Work your hours!Standard full time, Monday to Friday between 6am – 6pm (training period will be within the hours of 8.30am – 5pm).Training is completed on site and will take approximately 3-4 months to become fully competent in the role.
During this time, you are required to be on site every day.
