Our Opportunity: Due to ongoing growth and innovation we have 3 new Process Worker roles available at our new factory, available for hardworking, reliable and physically fit individuals keen to learn and grow with a great company.
Key Tasks: Processing and packing of fish species within set time frames, which meet quality food and safety standardsProcessing, grading and packing of fish for specific ordersGeneral labouring and quality control responsibilitiesHealth & safety and food safety and quality This is a team-based role, so you need to enjoy working with others, supporting your team and ensuring together targets are met, you keep each other safe and are delivering to a high standard.
We operate our factories and processing functions to the strictest standard of food safety and compliance.
It requires every one of our people to be committed to achieving this high standard, adhering to all health & safety requirements and aligning behaviour, performance and engagement to our values and code of conduct.
What You Will Bring: As a team player, with a strong work ethic, be honest and reliable, and enjoy learning new skills, working with good people and following process.
Ideally will have experience working in a factory/production environment, ideally FMCG, fresh foods or primary industry.
You need good communications skills- verbal and written and pick up new things effectively.
You must be eligible to work in NZ and be a reliable and efficient worker.
