Te ahua o Te Turunga – The nature of the position We are looking for a skilled IDIAnalyst to join our team of researchers and analysts and contribute to ouranalysis and research projects within Stats NZ Integrated Data Infrastructure.The role will suit someone who enjoys being proactive and taking initiativerather than awaiting instruction. The analyst team is the central hub bringingtogether all the data and research on our sectors, learners, and providers.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to research andanalysis to inform on how some of the big global and domestic trends likeclimate change, technological disruption and the future of work will impact oursector, and draw out insights for what this means for our sectors' workforcesand their vocational education needs.
As the IDI Analyst in our researchand analysis team, you'll play a leading role in shaping and delivering ourwork programme. This will include:
Understanding our commitment to honouring TeTiriti o Waitangi and incorporating that throughout your work. Conduct research and analysis projects to build theevidence base for Muka Tangata's work. Collaborating as part of a team of skilledresearchers and analysts and supporting junior staff members. Collaborate across the organisation to effectivelycommunicate data, evidence, and insights. Providing technical/subject matter expertise,growing our capabilities to support our research and analysis.
