Due to our extensive growth in North and South Island with our clients, we are in search of passionate and dedicated individuals for the role of ICT Sales and Marketing within the Door-to-Door Sales & Marketing industry.
Your Responsibilities:
Gain product knowledge of Mercury's ICT products and credit terms; complete contracts and record orders as directed.
Understand and convey to customers how Mercury's ICT products and services function, including the process of fiber installation and setting up routers/networks/wire signals.
Visit existing and prospective customers as directed to establish and act on selling opportunities.
Identify customer needs and assist with hardware and software queries.
Answer customer questions on credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Work with software like Knock, Salesforce, and Boxer Pro to ensure customer queries and details are captured.
Communicate with customers to ensure their satisfaction with ICT products and services offered and escalate customer complaints.
Prepare sales reports and maintain and submit records of business expenses incurred.
Comply with all policies, procedures, campaign, and legislative requirements.
Pay and Hours:
This is a full-time and permanent role with a guaranteed 30 hours per week, ranging from Monday to Saturday.
The pay on offer will range from a minimum of $25/hour to a maximum of $30/hour based on skills and experience.
An opportunity to earn an annual sales incentive targeted at $2,500 to $7,500 based on sales performance.
Job Requirements:
Having a creative flair, with an ability to think creatively.
Qualification of a Diploma or higher in any discipline is required.
Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or tourism is desirable but not necessary.
Holding a limited or full NZ driver's license is desirable but not necessary.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Confidence to interact with all levels of staff and management.
The working hours will be from 12 noon to 8 pm from Monday to Saturday; however, you may be required to work additional hours to meet personal and company KPIs.
