ICT Sales Consultant - Greater Southland Region Full time
The Company:
Established in Marlborough in 1993, we provide ICT support for businesses from solutions for one-man businesses to the needs of corporate companies and education providers.
We are a national IT, Service and Support organisation supporting both business and education clients, from Northland to Invercargill.
The Role:
We are seeking a Sales Consultant to work alongside our regional account manager offering pcMedia's ICT solutions across the business and education sectors in the region. This is a new role to drive growth in the region and will be based in either our Invercargill or Queenstown branch. Candidates can reside in the wider Queenstown or Invercargill areas. There is a technical requirement to scope out ICT solutions to meet our clients' needs. On-the-job technical training will be provided. We are ultimately looking for a motivated person with an interest in technology sales.
Responsibilities include:
Consulting with clients to deliver against their technology requirements.
Preparing and delivering professional proposals and presentations.
Being professional and maintaining the highest level of ethical conduct.
Working to meet regional sales targets.
Identifying, qualifying, and pursuing sales leads.
Following defined sales processes and tracking activities in our sales tool.
The ideal candidate for consideration:
Experience in sales would be an advantage (but not essential).
Basic IT product and service knowledge.
A passion for customer service and strong business acumen.
Self-motivated and can work autonomously, as well as in collaborative environments.
Exceptional relationship building skills with an ability to build new relationships while nurturing and strengthening existing ones.
Confidence, perseverance, and a winning attitude.
Practical, pragmatic, and resilient.
