Desktop Technology Services – Queenstown, South Island pcMedia are a Strategic Partner of Spark.
We specialise in the design, procurement, implementation, and support of corporate ICT infrastructure solutions including those delivered via the cloud.
About the Role This is a full-time permanent position working largely across our Enterprise customers.
This position provides technical expertise to implement and support server, network, and storage infrastructure – on premise or in the cloud.
Complimenting your strong technical capability, you must have a strong customer focus and outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate and deliver well thought out solutions.
What you'll do for us Ability to design, deliver, and support customer solutions, with an expectation to step into other roles as reasonably required to ensure quality customer outcomes.
Strong Thought Leadership across technology trends and the ability to deliver second-to-none technical solutions.
Researching and advising on technological advances that may assist business growth and/or value proposition.
Identification of emerging technologies that could provide competitive advantage and or service improvements to our clients.
Technical Requirements Expert technical domain knowledge in one or more technologies - particularly in Cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS, and Microsoft Server and Desktop platforms.
At least five years' experience in the industry with specific skills in one or more of the following technologies: Any or all of the technologies in the Microsoft 365 Stack.
Microsoft Server (2012 > 2022) Desktop OS (Windows 10, 11).
Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure.
Microsoft Exchange.
Linux.
Virtualisation technologies (Hypervisor and Virtual Desktop).
Modern Desktop Management (Intune, SCCM).
Skilled in Active Directory design, implementation, and troubleshooting (including associated components such as DNS, DFSR, Group Policy, ADFS, PKI).
An intermediate level of knowledge in networking concepts.
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
Experience and Qualifications Expert technical domain knowledge in one or more technologies.
Experienced in Transformative change.
Experienced in building strategic partnerships with clients.
Experience and proven ability to deliver outcomes that are aligned to business and IT goals.
Proactive management of customer journeys.
Experienced over multiple platforms and technologies.
Strong proven technical acumen.
A current full New Zealand drivers' licence is required.
