About the opportunity | Mo tenei turanga We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Operator to join our team at Bridge Street. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety in our manufacturing facility. As our Hygiene Operator, you will be responsible for executing comprehensive deep cleaning procedures and ensuring compliance with our rigorous food safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough deep cleaning procedures across all designated areas of the siteHandle specialized cleaning tools and chemicals while following safety protocolsSupport environmental sustainability through effective waste management and recyclingMaintain clear records of cleaning activities and chemical usageParticipate in regular inspections and communicate maintenance needsWork collaboratively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedulesSupport compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations The hours of work for this role are Monday - Friday, 07:00am – 3:30pm with the possibility of weekend work during peak periods. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role, preferably in a food manufacturing environmentCare and attention to processes that keep our products safe for consumersAbility to maintain clear records and follow food safety proceduresPhysical capability to perform the role's tasks - we provide equipment and training to support safe working practicesCommitment to safety through proper use of protective equipment (PPE), which we provideSkills in communicating and working with people from various backgrounds Are you excited about this opportunity but may only meet some requirements?
