Nau mai haere mai ki ta matou whanau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family The Opportunity: We're looking for a Hydrovac Operator to join us at Fulton Hogan - Auckland. In this role, you will perform hydrovac responsibilities across our civil construction projects. Overseeing the operation of high-pressure water to cut and liquefy the soil, while simultaneously using high volume vacuum to remove the soil from the excavation.
In addition to the above you will: Conduct pre-start checks for your Hydrovac vehicleOversee the Hydro flushing of pipes, unblocking and flushingVacuum loading and suction of water and contaminated wasteEnsure that the Hydro truck is appropriately and regularly serviced and maintainedCommunicate to different stakeholders, client, team member, supervisorsAdhere to our Fulton Hogan Living Safely policies at all timesWe have big works from Papakura to Drury, AKL- Airport and Water projects, the applicant will be keen to be able to travel to and from these sites within Auckland. We are looking for someone with: Be able to collect the Hydrovac Truck from our Papakura to Drury site dailyHold a minimum Class 4 Full licence is requiredHydrovac experience is preferred for this rolePossess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsGood level of physical fitness with ability to complete manual labour when requiredCreating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
