The Role We are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join our team in Perth –Western Australia. This role involves the manufacturing, repair, inspection, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various hydraulic components and systems, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and effectively. This role involves relocating to Perth – Western Australia from New Zealand and as such, a relocation package is on offer for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and install hydraulic components and systems according to specifications and industry standardsPerform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic systems and equipment to ensure optimal performanceConduct inspections and testing of hydraulic components to identify faults and ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsOversee the commissioning of hydraulic systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet project requirementsProvide technical support and guidance to clients and team members on hydraulic systems and componentsMaintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and prepare reports as neededAdhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and othersStay updated on industry trends and advancements in hydraulic technology to enhance service quality and efficiencyQualifications & Experience The successful candidate will possess the following: Minimum of 3 years of experience in hydraulics and tubing (Essential)Strong understanding of hydraulic fault finding, servicing/repair, and testing/commissioning proceduresSound knowledge of fluid power applications, principles, and systemsRelevant trade qualification or certification in hydraulics or mechanical engineering (preferred)Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues within hydraulic systems effectivelyStrong commitment to safety practices and procedures in the workplaceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a teamAbility to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various environmental conditionsValid Australian driver's license is required (or equivalent)Availability to travel to job sites as neededDiversity, Equity & Inclusion We are committed to a workplace culture that is inclusive, where everyone, regardless of cultural and ethnic background, age, gender, disability, or sexual orientation feels safe at work and has opportunities to contribute, develop and thrive.
