If you have a solid foundation in any related trade and a passion for learning, we'll equip you with the skills and knowledge to excel as a Hydraulic Technician.About the Role:Work on mobile and industrial hydraulic systems, performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a range of equipment and machinery in the Canterbury area.Learn to repair and maintain hydraulic components (pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses) to a high standard.Carry out fault-finding, troubleshooting, and testing of hydraulic systems with ongoing training.Opportunities for overtime and a variety of challenging projects.We're Looking for Someone Who:Has a trade qualification in a related field (e.g., Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or similar).Has strong diagnostic, mechanical repair, and problem-solving skills.Is willing to learn and develop skills in hydraulics – no prior hydraulic experience required.Can work both independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of work.Has excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to tasks.Holds a full NZ driver's licence and is eligible to work in New Zealand (NZ residency or valid work visa).What We Offer:Full training in hydraulics, with hands-on learning and development opportunities.Competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for overtime.A supportive team environment with ongoing career development in hydraulics.A stable, long-term career with a growing company.The chance to work on a wide variety of hydraulic systems in both mobile and industrial settings.If you're a skilled tradesperson looking to transition into hydraulics and develop a rewarding career, we want to hear from you.
