As a Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Mechanic/HVAC Service Technician, you will have a pivotal role in our clients field service operations. Your responsibilities will include the upkeep, servicing, and repair of various HVAC & R equipment for our clients esteemed customers. This position demands practical expertise in Air Handling Units, Ducted Splits, Fans, Chillers, CRAC Units, Ventilation, VRF systems and other HVAC systems coupled with a strong focus on delivering top-notch maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and installations. The job is based in Townsville, Queensland and entails a 38 hour work week with a minimum 2 hours of overtime a week paid at penalties and RDO options as well. Compensation consists of an hourly rate based on experience plus 11.5% superannuation, vehicle or vehicle allowance, mobile phone allowance , tablet allowance, fuel coverage and relocation and housing assistance if required. Conducting installations, upgrades, commissioning, service and maintenance of HVAC&R systems such as Air Handling Units, Ducted Splits, Fans, Chillers, CRAC Units, VRF Systems and other HVAC systems.
Utilizing Simpro for recording and tracking of all work and maintenance activities.
Liaising with key clients to provide first class services and solutions by being the face of the business and delivering the highest level of quality.
Adhering to safety, quality, and industry best practices.
Managing your daily schedule and run efficiently.
ProfileQualifications and Experience:
Trade certificate or qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC or a 4th Year Apprentice.
Ideally experience in most of the following - Installation, upgrades, commissioning, service and maintenance of commercial or industrial HVAC&R systems.
Experience working to best practices and country standards.
Current Refrigeration Handling (ARCtick) Licence or willingness to obtain.
Restricted Electrical Licence or a willingness to obtain.
Ability to gain Security Clearances and Blue Card.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Job OfferWorking Conditions:
Relocation and housing assistance to Townsville, Queensland from New Zealand.
$46 - $50 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation.
38 hour work week plus a minimum of 2 hours overtime a week with options for RDO's either fortnightly, monthly or 2 monthly.
Monday to Friday.
Work Ute provided with some local personal use available around Townsville.
Fuel allowance, phone allowance, tablet allowance.
Extra overtime available paid at penalties.
Oncall component every 6 weeks - weekly allowance and call outs paid a penalties
