About The RoleVentia have been engaged by the Austin Hospital to provide integrated Facility Management services incorporating planned, preventive, and reactive maintenance services, ad hoc services, and soft services including cleaning, ground, pest, and waste streams.The Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Technician will play a key role in the team and operate across the Austin Hospital of facilities for planned, reactive, remedial and ad-hoc maintenance activities across the sites.Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Participate in a multiskilled team for delivery of high quality facility management and maintenance servicesComplete planned maintenance activities across Refrigeration/Air Conditioning systems associated with large facilitiesIdentify and rectify equipment and infrastructure faults in a time critical environmentDiagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctionsInspect and maintain refrigerators and chilled water supply systems as requiredMinor works including assembly, installation, testing, and maintain heating, cooling and refrigeration equipment and appliancesWork order management for all works completed within required timeframesHigh standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality in your work.About You:You will be qualified and have experience in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning working in a time critical environment with a focus on both planned and reactive maintenance.You will also possess:Connect and Disconnect electrical licenceKnowledge of BMS SystemsExperience with integrated systems (HVAC and Fire)Demonstrated experience in time critical rectification and reportingCapability in maintaining scheduled work plansHigh standards across compliance and driving safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in your workBe able to complete and pass a National Police Check and MedicalBe able to evidence full covid vaccinationsNice to Have:Working at HeightsScissor and boom lift licenceExperience with integrated systems (HVAC and Fire)DiversityWe acknowledge the importance of our people's diverse experiences, talents and cultures.
