We make them breathe.Being proudly Kiwi owned for over 25 years, we're about people, team, and doing excellent work, safely and efficiently.What's the job?With a huge increase in demand, we are on the lookout for a Project Supervisor to support the Construction team to deliver the company's projects on time and to a high standard by on-site coordination of the installation of plant & equipment while managing on-site activities and sub-contractors.What will I do?Construction Management & Installation - 60%Lead the implementation & delivery of the Mechanical works onsite.Define project tasks and resource requirements as required.Liaise with Operations Managers to ensure agreed objectives and timelines are implemented and provide feedback.Constantly monitor and report on sub-contractor progress to Operations Managers.Carry out site measures as required and feed information back to engineering team as well as manufacturing company.Assist the Operations Managers & Project Coordinators with the ordering & procurement of materials and equipment in a timely manner and within budget to ensure smooth operation of the work on job sites.Assisting site sub-contractors and staff with onsite installations of HVAC related components and materials when required.Organising specialist plant and access equipment to enable specific tasks to be carried out eg scaffolding, hoisting etc.Attendance to internal and external site meetings as required.Provide feedback in regard to shop drawing requirements & Schematics.Manage commissioning process and implement commissioning plan with Operations Managers.Supervision & Administration - 30%In conjunction with the Operations Managers assemble staff and sub-contractor team to ensure full coverage for mechanical works.Checking and approval of sub-contractor labour costs as required.Ensure Operations Managers are well informed of how they are performing individually and as a team, ensure relationship with trades onsite are maintained.Liaise effectively with other teams and departments.Assist with the pricing of variations and VPR's when and if required.Assist with project queries & RFI's.Ensure staff and subcontractors attend regular meetings re site issues, timelines and forward work.Check & approve Staff labour based on timesheet submission.Ensure all timesheets have correct job numbers, hours & labour is accurate for Job Costing Purposes.Health & Safety Compliance - 10%Risk Assessment of jobs with the assistance of health & safety company resources.Ensure knowledge of company EQAS H&S system and understand implementation of SWMS etc.Ensure site staff are aware of client safety requirements and enforce those procedures and protocols.Fully comply with the Company's Health & Safety procedures.Report all accidents, near misses & incidents immediately and complete all necessary paperwork as required.Always wear the prescribed Safety clothing and equipment when required.Ensure safe and effective operating practices of equipment utilised in building maintenance with consideration to self and others.Ensure all safety regulations are followed and up to date including tools correctly stored accounted for test and tagged and serviced.Coordination and liaison with H&S coordinators and site obligations.What skills do I need?Minimum of 10 years Auckland based HVAC experience.Proficient in using Simpro, and other job management software. Training Provided.Excellent organisational and operational skills.Adept in Microsoft Project and excel.Good management skills with the ability to motivate and drive direct and sub-contract labour.Skilled in OH&S.Ability to solve problems and manage conflict effectively.Excellent oral communication - able to convey information professionally and effectively.Must be able to read, write and communicate English fluently.Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work.Able to complete relevant administration duties accurately and on time.What will I get?Very competitive salary, working environment and conditions.Company VehicleStrong advocacy by our leaders for continuous improvement.
