HVAC ManagerLocation: Auckland, New ZealandAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HVAC & Electrical Manager to lead our Auckland team. Reporting to the Northern Regional Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and financial success of our HVAC and Electrical service operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving team performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and building lasting relationships with key clients.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of Supervisors, HVAC Mechanical Technicians, Electricians, Apprentices, and Specialist Subcontractors.Ensure all contractual obligations are met, delivering high-quality service to our clients.Support the Northern Regional Manager in achieving profitability, revenue, and business growth targets.Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, team efficiency, and quality.Build and maintain strong client relationships, exceeding their expectations.Manage and mentor your team, ensuring a high level of motivation and productivity.Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Provide technical support and expertise to resolve issues in a busy service environment.Qualifications & Experience:Relevant professional or technical tertiary qualifications.HVAC or Electrical background with a solid understanding of design or estimating.Minimum of 5 years of management experience in an HVAC trade service environment.NZ Qualification in HVAC or a related field.Proven ability to scope and price HVAC installations and tenant fit-outs ranging from $20k to $100k.Demonstrated experience in managing or supervising an HVAC service team.Strong knowledge of building and service regulations, as well as statutory obligations.Expertise in client relationship and account management.Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage a diverse range of tasks.Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.Skills & Competencies:Exceptional people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and deliver above-target profits.Visionary leadership with a passion for driving business development and revenue growth.Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.Strong planning and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage competing demands.Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Ability to adapt to changes, manage risks, and lead in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?We pride ourselves on providing a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued.
