Hunting Lodge Cook

Cook needed for a trophy hunting Lodge in central North Island with American clientele. With a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience, this business is a key player in the International Hunting market. We need a cook who enjoys being a part of a small and close-knit team, working in a homely open plan kitchen, meeting and interacting with clients while working.
 
To be successful in this role you will: Love cooking 'real' New Zealand food (country-style cuisine) for up to 24 people dailyBake excellent muffins, be confident cooking meat (we will teach you how to cook venison), and not be afraid of a deep fryer!Follow a 7 day menu plan with some set recipesOrder and manage food supplies and weekly pickups efficientlyWork well under pressure and be able to cope with last minute changesMaintain a clean kitchen at all timesBe able to stay off your phone for more than 15 minutes at a timeHave a strong desire to go out of your way to provide our guests with an amazing experienceThis position runs from February to July 2025. Accommodation and meals are included and on site. A vehicle and current driver's license is essential due to location. You must be available to work weekends and Public Holidays.
