With a change of ownership underway, we are searching for an HR Manager to join our leadership team and help our business to thrive in its next phase of growth.About the Role:Reporting to our General Manager and based at our site in Ashburton, you will be focused on supporting our senior and middle management to find and retain talent.
This is a critical role that will play a significant part in supporting our business through an upcoming period of growth and positive change.
You will be accountable for the full suite of generalist HR activities including Health and Safety and will manage a capable administration team.Key Responsibilities:Recruitment and selectionLeadership training and coachingSupporting our Leadership Team to manage ER problemsHealth and safety managementTo excel in this role, you will have:A bachelor's degree in human resources or another relevant field/experience.A solid background in HR Leadership roles, ideally within primary industries or similar.Strong and current knowledge of HR principles, practices and employment law.A strategic mindset alongside a keenness to get stuck in operationally.The ability to work collaboratively while also driving improvements.Show strong initiative and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence people at all levels, from our process workers to our General Manager.To submit an application, email ****** with a copy of your up-to-date CV and a brief cover letter explaining your interest in this role.Please note we cannot employ anyone who is not currently eligible to work in NZ.
