We have offices in Whangarei and Kerikeri with a staff compliment of approximately 300.
We are contracted to the Ministry of Health, Northland District Health Board, Ministry of Disabled People (Whaikaha) and ACC to supply home based support (home care and personal care) to disabled people of all ages in Northland.
The majority of our clients are over 65 years old and have an age-related disability.About the role:In conjunction with the HR Advisor, the HR Coordinator will provide HR and payroll advice, ensure compliance with all Employment legislation and manage any performance or disciplinary processes.
The role also includes reviewing and developing HR Policies and Procedures to align with the strategic goals of the organisation.
The HR Coordinator also plays a key role in:Delivering extensive administrative assistance to the Human Resources functionsManaging employee recordsFacilitating the recruitment processOrganising learning and development programsEnsuring adherence to HR policies and proceduresAdditionally, the HR Coordinator serves as a primary contact for employee inquiries, fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.About you:Able to work autonomously and stay focused on tasksExceptional communication skills, adept at conveying information and ideas clearly to a diverse audienceOutstanding organisational abilities with a talent for multitasking and managing tight, competing deadlinesDemonstrates sound judgment and applies approaches that are well-suited to each situationPossesses a clear understanding of what is and is not appropriate to share with othersEmbodies an inclusive and approachable working style, with a strong appreciation for the value diversity bringsTo be successful in this role you will have:A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related disciplineProficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programExperience in using HR Information Systems (HRIS)A full driver's licenseSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionHuman ResourcesIndustriesHome Health Care Services
