Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Our client is a prominent player in the freight industry with branches across New Zealand. They are looking for an experienced Hub Manager to join the Taupo Branch.About the role:This is a full-time night shift position from 5pm to 2am, Monday to Friday.Key Responsibilities:Overseeing the Taupo team with all policies and procedures.Ensuring the nightly operations meet the company's objectives and requirements.Accountable for the goals and results from the branch.Communicating effectively with all staff, internal & external contractors, and other branches.Providing training to current and new staff, as well as internal and external contractors to encourage optimal growth and productivity.Keeping up to date with schedules and managing performance issues effectively.Working closely with and reporting to the national manager.Maintaining costs within budgets.Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.Skills & Experience:Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Transport requirements.Previous experience in Transport or Logistics.Familiar with Human Resource processes.Confident Forklift Operator with F endorsement and OSH certificates.First Aid Certificate holder.High attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Skilled in developing systems and paperwork trials.How to apply:Please apply now or contact Joshua Morris on 0272 647 165 for a confidential chat.
