You will be a key driver in successful revenue generation, asset management, customer retention, safety management, business growth and exceptional service delivery. You will need a track record for successfully delivering operational objectives and a passion for encouraging your hard-working and dedicated teams to do the same. Reporting to the Regional Manager - this role includes day to day management of our branches in Canterbury Region as well as other large local infrastructure projects. Well-developed product knowledge within the hire industry would be of great benefit but ideally, we are looking for a leader who has proven skill and experience managing a diverse team. With effective leadership driving safety, compliance and results, you have a real opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of the business. What You'll Do Ensure the successful achievement of hub, sales, financial and operational business objectives; delivering on key initiatives to increase profitability and further grow the business Driving a positive culture within the hub; creating and maintaining strong cross-functional collaborations within the business unit and wider Hirepool teams Maximising opportunities to raise our profile in the wider national market; demonstrating superior responsiveness to customer demand and effectively managing the utilisation of hire plant within the hub Leading by example in all areas of health and safety; taking all opportunities to reinforce and improve the safety agenda What you need: Extensive multi-site staff management experience including: leadership, business development, employee mentoring, and branch safety involvement Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence (other classes and endorsements an advantage) An intermediate level of computer skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail What we offer: We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including enhanced employer Kiwisaver contributions, frontline management qualifications, and company-funded life insurance.
