Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the RoleLakes District Hospital is a busy facility, with an emergency department, general ward, radiology, maternity, and outpatient departments. Located in the hub of clinical administration, this role will challenge your organisational skills with competing deadlines and conflicting priorities.Responsibilities include:Management of patient records for the emergency department and general wardProcessing of ACC forms and other documentationProviding effective reception services - answering incoming calls, welcoming visitorsSupporting the wider service with administrative tasksThis position involves varied tasks including dealing with medical professionals and patients. It can be extremely busy at times, so managing your workload is essential. The admin team is friendly, close-knit, and supportive.About YouAs part of the Administration team, your friendly, welcoming, resilient nature will be appreciated. You'll be a positive communicator - both written and verbal and be competent in MS Office Suite. Experience using database systems and/or the ability to quickly pick these up is essential.
