You'll play a key role in implementing our HSW strategies, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and legislation.Your key responsibilities will include:Partnering with site leaders and employees to promote safety best practices and foster a positive safety culture.Supporting the delivery of safety programs, initiatives, and training.Conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.Leading wellbeing initiatives and activities to promote the physical and mental health of our team.Investigating (via RCA and ICAM) incidents and providing SME support for the selection and implementation of corrective actions.Implementing the HSW management system across their area of responsibility.About YouWe are looking for individuals that have at least 2+ years' experience in a health and safety role, ideally within a similar food or FMCG manufacturing environment.You can also demonstrate:Experience in a health and safety advisory role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.A strong understanding of HSW legislation, best practices, and safety management systems.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.A relevant qualification in health and safety, or equivalent experience.Our people and what they bring to our Co-op shape our success.
