This role focuses on ensuring risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement, aligning with Portacom's Zero Harm objectives. Partnering with a range of customers and internal stakeholders, this role will see you:Develop and maintain business-wide safety standards, policies, and procedures.Identify and manage risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.Drive incident reporting and investigations to foster safety improvements.Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and customers on safety initiatives.Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory health and safety requirements.Conduct site inspections and ensure standards are followed.About you:NZ Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety Management (or equivalent).Proven experience in a similar role (heavy industry, manufacturing, or construction preferred).Strong knowledge of relevant safety legislation and ISO standards.Skilled in coaching, influencing, and delivering safety training.Experience with incident reporting tools (e.g., MyOsh) and risk assessments.Confident working independently and driving continuous improvement.What's in It for You?Be part of a company committed to Zero Harm and continuous improvement.A chance to collaborate with a motivated and supportive team.Opportunities to shape safety initiatives and impact business success.Ready to make an impact?
