Here's what you'll be involved in
As HR lead for NZ, this is a sole charge role where you'll balance your time between strategic and operational initiatives. Engaging with senior leadership colleagues one minute, you'll then turn your hand to recruitment, performance development and coaching managers on how to best have conversations with their teams. Reporting to the NZ MD, and with a dotted line to an Australian HR Director, you'll also roll out group initiatives, adapting them to suit the local team of just under 100 people.
As this is a business where people value collaborating and enjoy bouncing ideas around, this role will see you based in the Ellerslie office most days.
Skills and experience you'll bring
You're an experienced HR business partner who brings a commercial lens to everything you do. Well-honed stakeholder management and strong communication skills will see you quickly build credibility and trusting relationships across the business. Your proven experience across the full HR remit will see you bring insights and fresh ideas, and a willingness to turn your hand to whatever comes your way. Switched on and outcomes focused, you bring energy and focus to delivering a great people experience.
