They are now looking for a knowledgeable and independent HR Manager to provide strategic and transactional support with HR plans that align with the direction and development of the business.
You will impart leadership, direction and guidance to management and employees on all HR matters and be accountable for the employee lifecycle from onboarding to the exit phase.
HR Manager , the role: Strategic Support – HR strategy including processes and policies; succession planning for business growth; employee engagement and welfare; HR KPIs Primary - new starters (including checks, training, induction); employee file management; contracts, job descriptions and RTW eligibility; communication and changes; work experience and apprenticeships; redundancy, grievance and disciplinary; GDPR and handbook; employee training and personal development needs; employee retention and career pathways; annual leave, sickness and return to work interviews; appraisals; probation period; recruitment; any other HR related issues Legal – ensuring processes, procedures are monitored and implemented in line with current government HR legislations and immigration laws Health and Safety – collaboration with H&S Manager; employee training certification Operations – documents and filling/information storing General duties – Board reports; HR related administration HR Manager , the person: Level 5 CIPD qualified Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role (stand-alone HR role would be preferred) Knowledge of current Employment Legislation Strong communication, interpersonal and customer facing skills Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly Organised with great attention to detail Flexible attitude and competent in handling changing priorities Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure A high level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy Hands on experience with IT programs and HR Systems Knowledge of setting up a HR department would be desirable HR Manager , the benefits: Very competitive salary Opportunity to work within a proactive, supportive and multicultural team Working from home one day a week (after probation period) Flexible working hours Free onsite parking 20 days of Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays Pure Human Resources Limited works in partnership with Mar-key Group in providing HR and Recruitment support.
